With great porker comes great responsibility.
Gary Yorkshire is finally getting into the swing of this whole superhero thing – saving the world from terrible villains, masterfully concealing his identity with a very small mask. But what happens when Batpig is called to battle time itself in a maths class that just won't end? Or when the city is attacked by something completely (and literally) out of this world?

It's not easy being a super-swine, but with the help of his best friends Brook the bat and Carl the fish, there's no hamburglar they can't catch.

A brilliantly funny and skilfully rendered commercial young graphic novel series, with each book containing two separate stories.

    Review

Batpig is back in action! This time, he does battle with a time-themed villain who just wants to be appreciated and has the unfortunate pleasure of meeting his own hero, Crimson Swine.

The janitor at Batpig’s school, Mr Guffin, is underappreciated. When the clock tower is struck by lightning and he mysteriously gets the power to control time, he decides to take revenge by slowing time during class and forcing all the students through a class that never ends! Eventually, Batpig knows he must act. He decides to bring all the students’ favourite things to class, because time flies when you’re having fun! After defeating Mr. Guffin, he asks what’s really the matter—and when Mr Guffin explains how he feels, the class decides to help by cleaning up after themselves more often and being more polite. The day is saved!

The next adventure follows Batpig and his friends as they travel into the city to the filming location of the newest Crimson Swine film. Batpig is a Crimson Swine superfan but meeting his hero doesn’t go the way he expects—the actor is rude, slobby, and generally a real pig! When two bored aliens decide to send a bumblebee-kitten hybrid to terrorise the town, Batpig puts on the Crimson Swine costume to stop the chaos. Maybe it’s not a good idea to meet your heroes…but Batpig won’t let that stop him from being a hero himself!

This light-hearted graphic novel for young readers is full of laughs, superhero jokes, and the power of friendship. The brightly coloured comic-style illustrations make this an easy and engaging rad. Highly recommended for fans of superheroes and those in need of a chuckle!
