Review
This second book in the series sees Amber injured and lying low with Agent Ferris and his goons hot on her trail. With the help of her insect friend she's able to avoid them and take time out to heal.
Meanwhile, the Firefighter is having reservations about Ferris's methods and underlying mission. When he helps innocent protestors escape Ferris's clutches he's turned upon and labelled untrustworthy -- an enemy of the state. As the Firefighter soon discovers, Ferris has other people with powers -- a sister and two brothers -- and it's with their help that he eventually captures both the Firefighter and Amber.
Another fun read in this evolving series. The language is simple, there's plenty of pictures and the story is engaging and action-packed. A great read to draw in a reluctant reader.
