Both the Shepherd and the Wolf live on the mountain. They love their home and want to feel safe there.
This book tells the same story, in identical words, from both the Wolf’s perspective and that of the Shepherd. Read the Wolf’s story then flip it over and read the Shepherd’s story and see the landscape that each of them sees.
A good reminder of how humans should behave in the wild and on this earth that we share.

Review
This picture book uses the same text to unify two opposing viewpoints: that of a wolf and a shepherd who live on the same mountain. The reader sees one perspective, and then flips the book over to see the other perspective.
The wolf and the shepherd may seem different, but they are more similar than they think: they love the mountain and their families; they fear the danger of the world around them; and ultimately they come to the conclusion that the mountain is big enough for the two of them.
A simple and very visual way to show the importance of sharing, understanding others, and respecting wildlife, as well as the power of perspective.
