    Each bird’s entry includes a full-page illustration of the species in question, along with key information about the species and its habitat, conservation status, visual features, and mating and eating habits.

    Each bird featured in the book is particularly notable, or ‘curious’, in some way—maybe it has an abnormally long tail or beak, or a particularly interesting mating ritual, or maybe it’s the largest (or smallest!) bird of its kind! The book also includes a handy glossary for the more complex terminology used throughout the entries, and a contents page to help readers navigate.
